Brief
This project goal was to create a digital beauty application for a popular publication. Aimed to the distinctive GQ audience of intelligent, affluent and educated men aged between 20 - 44, who appreciate the amalgam of fashion and journalism.
Process
I chose GQ due to it's popularity and sophisticated branding. Alicia has been a leader in the world of serious skincare and soul nurturing rituals for all. I felt her passion and knowledge within the beauty and cosmetic industry would supply valuable content for this feature. For inspiration and brand styling I looked into both GQ and Alicia's "Keys Soulcare" branding and missions which have a common goal of purity for their customers.
I consulted and worked with makeup professionals from "Sephora" and "Mac" to familiarize myself with industry accurate applications and executions for beauty makeup. GQ occasionally releases a packaged edition with samples for their readers which tie into the main person or brand featured with that particular month's issue.
